As part of the academic collaboration between the School of Law, Walailak University (Thailand) and the Faculty of Law, Udayana University (Indonesia), an international academic seminar was held under the theme:

“Comparative Criminal Law Between Thailand and Indonesia in Theft and Embezzlement Offenses.”

The session explored comparative perspectives on criminal law provisions, interpretations, and penalties related to theft and embezzlement under the legal systems of Thailand and Indonesia.

Engaging dialogue between legal scholars and students highlighted the unique structures and approaches of each jurisdiction, fostering academic exchange and mutual understanding—an important step in building regional cooperation in Southeast Asian legal education and research.
