Walailak University’s Law Program Hosts “Rapee Day” Legal Knowledge Competition to Honor the Father of Thai Law and Select Regional Representatives
On July 16, 2025, the Law Program under the School of Law, Walailak University, organized the annual “Rapee Day” Legal Knowledge Competition for the academic year 2025. The event was held at the Srithammarat Conference Room, School of Architecture Building, with enthusiastic participation from students across all academic years. 🎓✨
The competition aimed to honor the benevolence and contributions of Prince Rapee Phatthanasak, widely recognized as the Father of Thai Law, and to instill in students the ideals and values of public service under the motto: “My life is service.” 👨⚖️
In addition to serving as a platform for learning and showcasing students’ legal knowledge and skills, the event also acted as a selection round for outstanding students to represent the university in upcoming regional-level legal competitions. This marks an important step in fostering legal professionalism and enhancing the academic potential of law students for future careers.
