The School of Law, Walailak University, was honored to welcome distinguished guests from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Republic of Indonesia, led by Prof. Dr. Rizal Yaya, Ph.D., CA, Director of Global Cooperation and Career Development as well as Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, and Dr. Noor Qomaria Agustina, S.Pd., M.Hum., Ph.D., Lecturer in the English Education Department, Faculty of Language Education.

The visit was arranged under the official request letter signed by Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, with the purpose of discussing potential academic collaboration with Walailak University.

On this occasion, Mr. Kanokphon Nikornpaes, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, School of Law, extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation at Cho Pradoo Meeting Room, Walailak University Medical Center Building, on Friday, October 31, 2025.

This visit forms part of the ongoing efforts to expand academic cooperation and personnel exchange between the two institutions, fostering internationalization and promoting sustainable development within the ASEAN university network.
