The School of Law, Walailak University, Receives “Very Good” Awards at the 5th National Conference on Legal Studies under the Theme “Legal Horizon 2035”

The School of Law, Walailak University, has received two “Very Good” awards at the 5th National Conference on Legal Studies, held under the theme “Legal Horizon 2035,” which aims to promote the development of legal knowledge and support the dissemination of academic research at the national level.

On 8 January 2026, the School of Law, Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Pradipa Suwannarat, Assistant Dean for Public Relations and Academic Development, together with Mr. Sawatchat Japsin, a lecturer in the Law Program, and a group of students, participated in the conference. The event was hosted by the Faculty of Law, Thaksin University, in Songkhla Province.

At this conference, the School of Law, Walailak University, was honored with two “Very Good” awards for outstanding academic presentations, as follows:

“Safeguarding State Interests in Southeast Asia: Challenges and Opportunities under the BBNJ Agreement.”

“Management and Conservation Measures for Seagrass in Thailand,”

The presentations by both student teams were conducted under the guidance and academic supervision of Assistant Professor Pradipa Suwannarat and Assistant Professor Nitthaya Limruangkun. These achievements reflect the strong academic capabilities of both faculty members and students, as well as the School of Law’s commitment to encouraging high-quality academic work and promoting its dissemination at the national level in a concrete and sustainable manner.
