“Your Child Will Be Our Child.” 💙⚖️ #LAWWU**

Today, more than **200 parents** have entrusted their most precious treasures—their children—to the care of the **School of Law, Walailak University**.

As part of the **12th New Student Parent Orientation for Academic Year 2026**, titled **”Parents Meet the School of Law, Walailak University,”** the School warmly welcomed parents as they joined this significant milestone in their children’s educational journey.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter—from a time when parents closely guided every step, to a stage where students begin learning to live independently within the university community. The School of Law is truly honored and delighted to officially welcome and meet all parents on this special occasion.

The School sincerely appreciates the trust and confidence that parents have placed in us to care for their children—not only in their academic pursuits, but also in their personal development, well-being, and professional growth as future legal practitioners.

On **Wednesday, May 6, 2026**, the event was led by **Associate Professor Naret Kesaprakorn**, Acting Dean of the School of Law, together with the School’s executive team, faculty members, staff, and the Law Student Association, who warmly welcomed the parents at **Lecture Building 3, Room 3310**.

During the event, parents attended a special lecture delivered by the Acting Dean on the topic:

**”Future Career Paths in the Legal Profession: Student Support and Creating Opportunities for Success in Law.”**

The session provided valuable insights into the School’s academic programs, student support system, professional development initiatives, and career opportunities within the legal profession. It also encouraged parents to play an active role in supporting and inspiring their children’s journey toward success.

In addition, **Dr. Korathima Pattanasilp**, Assistant Dean for Public Relations and Student Academic Development, and **Ms. Khwanmanee Maneechot**, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, introduced the curriculum, learning system, student development programs, extracurricular activities, and the comprehensive student support services available throughout the students’ academic journey.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth, care, and hope as parents expressed their aspirations for their children’s future. They were also given the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the School’s administrators, faculty members, and the President of the Law Student Association, helping to build confidence as students embark on their journey to becoming the next generation of legal professionals.

The **School of Law, Walailak University** extends its heartfelt gratitude to all parents for placing their trust in us.

We are committed to supporting, nurturing, and empowering every student, equipping them with legal knowledge, professional competence, and strong ethical values so they may become outstanding legal professionals and responsible contributors to society.
