On June 17, 2026, the School of Law, Walailak University organized its Homeroom Session for Semester 1 of the 2026 Academic Year at the Thaiburi Building. The event was attended by the School’s administrators, faculty members, the Law Student Association, and students from all year levels.
A highlight of the program was the Recognition Ceremony, which celebrated students’ outstanding achievements and contributions. Certificates of recognition were presented to students with exceptional academic performance, including those who achieved the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) in each year of study and students who earned a cumulative GPA (GPAX) of 3.50 or above during the 2026 academic year.
The School also presented certificates of appreciation to members of the Law Student Association and the Student Club Executive Committee for the 2025 academic year, acknowledging their dedication, leadership, and valuable contributions to student activities and the development of the School community.
The Homeroom session also served as an important platform for communicating essential academic and student life information. Students were introduced to the revised curriculum, teaching and learning approaches, assessment methods, School regulations, and key academic and extracurricular activities scheduled throughout the academic year.
The event concluded with an opportunity for students to meet individually with their academic advisors. During these sessions, students received personalized guidance on academic planning, course selection, physical and mental well-being, and university life, helping them build confidence and prepare for their journey toward becoming knowledgeable, ethical, and highly capable legal professionals.
