On 7 August 2026, the School of Law, Walailak University, the School of Law, together with faculty members and students, participated in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony and paid tribute by presenting a commemorative wreath before the portrait of His Royal Highness Prince Rapee Pattanasak, Prince of Ratchaburi, widely recognized as the Father of Thai Law.

The ceremony was held in commemoration of Rapee Day 2026 at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Court.

The occasion serves as an annual remembrance of Prince Rapee Pattanasak’s profound contributions to the development of Thailand’s legal system and his enduring legacy in Thai legal education and the legal profession.
