On August 20, 2025, faculty members, staff, and law students will visit Triam Udom Suksa Southern School and Thung Tha Lat Community in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province to organize academic service activities under this project.

🌏 Framework: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The activities are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on:

  • SDG 4.3.4: Access to quality education
  • SDG 17.2.5: Creating sustainable learning processes

The goal is to improve education and provide youth and community members with equal access to knowledge.

💡 Academic Services for the Community: Legal Knowledge & English Skills

This academic service activity focuses on two key areas: Law and English—essential knowledge in 2025 to strengthen skills and understanding within the community.

          📚 Legal Knowledge

Students from LAW67211 Civil and Commercial Law on Obligations and LAW67212 Civil and Commercial Law on Torts, Agency without Mandate, and Unjust Enrichment will share knowledge on legal borrowing and legally valid loan contracts. They will use reallife examples to help participants understand and apply the information correctly and safely in daily life. The sessions also include fraud prevention topics to raise awareness and help communities prevent legal risks.

          🌍 English Language Skills

Students from LAW63367 English for Legal Reading and Research have prepared brochures, links, and QR codes containing content on International Legal News and Legal Vocabulary. These materials will help youth and community members access information conveniently while developing modern legal English skills.

🎯Integration with SDGs

  • SDG 4.3.4: Access to Quality Education
Workshops and group learning activities will be organized to provide youth and the community with accessible and practical legal and English knowledge.
  • SDG 17.2.5: Building Sustainable Learning Processes
The Faculty of Law will establish educational partnerships among universities, schools, and communities to promote continuous and sustainable learning.

🌱 Towards a Learning Community

This initiative not only shares legal and English knowledge but also expands educational opportunities, strengthens community capacity, and fosters life skills to help communities adapt to societal changes. It supports long-term sustainable development across education, social well-being, and quality of life dimensions
