Mr. Tinlaphas Chupantanarakul, a lecturer at the School of Law, Walailak University, presented his research at the National Academic Conference on “Digital Technology Law and Policy”, held during 15–16 December 2025 at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University.

The paper, entitled “A Comparative Legal Analysis of FTX and Celsius: Strengthening Thailand’s Bankruptcy and Digital Asset Regulatory Framework,” examined and compared the legal issues arising from the FTX and Celsius cases. The presentation aimed to reflect lessons learned from international case studies in order to contribute to the development of Thailand’s legal framework, ensuring that it is better equipped to address risks associated with digital asset businesses and to enhance sustainable investor protection.

This academic exchange underscores the commitment of the School of Law, Walailak University, to promoting scholarly research and contributing to national discourse on emerging legal challenges in the digital era.
