School of Law, Walailak University Promotes Cultural Preservation through Participation in the “Bun Hai Than Fai” Tradition of Nakhon Si Thammarat

On Thursday, 25 December 2025, administrators, faculty members, staff, and students of the School of Law, Walailak University, participated in the School of Law Community Kitchen Booth Project and activities related to the preservation of the Bun Hai Than Fai Festival, an important cultural tradition of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The event, held for the Year 2026, was organized by the Center for Student Promotion and Development at the Dhamma Courtyard, Chor Pradu Food Center, Walailak University.

The activities were organized with the objective of promoting the preservation of arts and culture and conserving the Bun Hai Than Fai tradition, which represents a valuable cultural way of life of the people of Nakhon Si Thammarat, ensuring its continuity for future generations. The event also aimed to enhance cultural participation competencies among faculty, staff, and students, as well as to provide opportunities for engagement in Buddhist religious activities.

Participation in this event reflects the active role of the School of Law, Walailak University, in promoting religious values, arts and culture, and social engagement. These efforts form an essential foundation for nurturing students into graduates with integrity, ethical awareness, and a strong sense of social responsibility, in alignment with the University’s policy on sustainable human development.
