The School of Law Preserves Thai Culture at “Walailak Songkran Festival 2026”
On April 8, 2026, faculty members of the School of Law, Walailak University, participated in the “Walailak Songkran Festival 2026” held at the Architecture Building of Walailak University. The event aimed to preserve and promote Thailand’s rich cultural heritage for future generations.
The festival featured activities that reflect the unique identity of the Songkran tradition, including the Buddha bathing ceremony for good fortune, the water-pouring ritual to pay respect and seek blessings from elders, and wearing traditional Thai attire. These activities created a graceful atmosphere and fostered pride in Thai culture.
Participation in this event represents an effort to promote cultural values and strengthen relationships among university personnel, while also contributing to the preservation and continuation of Thai traditions in a sustainable manner.
