School of Law Walailak University participated in the wreath laying ceremony on Chulalongkorn Day, 23 October 2023.

(On 23 October 2023) School of Law Walailak University Participate in the wreath laying ceremony To remembrance of His Majesty’s grace On the anniversary of his death His Majesty King Chulalongkorn His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, King Rama V, at the King Rama V Statue Square, Nakhon Si Thammarat Na Mueang Stadium.
In this case, there is the Vice-President (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Paliphot) represented Walailak University in laying a wreath along with Asst. Prof. Jintana Unahawaithaya, Acting Head of the Department of Law. Miss Amonrat Ammatsena, Acting Head of the Research Institute and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wachiraporn Puangjinda, a lecturer in the Law Program, was a representative of the School of Law attending the ceremony.

This was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Charun Bunyakarn, Acting Vice President of Walailak University, who gave the opening speech. There was Assistant Professor Dr. Wijittra Petchakit, Acting Dean of the School of Law, along with faculty and second-year and third-year students who welcomed and attended the lecture at the Srithammarat Room, AD Building.

On 26 September 2023, the School of Law Walailak University welcomes teachers and students from the social studies programme high school students (Matthayom 4-6) Sichon Kunathanwittaya School, Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. On the occasion of a student visiting, this was in order to promote the school of law and allow students to learn about the teaching and learning process in the Law curriculum. On 27 September 2023, the School of Law, Walailak University organised a special lecture on the topic “Being a Good Lawyer” with the honour of Associate Professor Doctor Lawan Thanadsillapakul gave a special lecture with Professor Doctor Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President, administrators, school staffs, and first-year law students attend lectures in order to provide students with knowledge about laws that can be applied in the current situation as well as being a good lawyer. This is an important basis for every law student to continue practicing the legal profession at Sri Thammarat Room, Architectural Design Building (A.D.).

On 21 September 2023, administrators and staffs of the School of Law, Walailak University led by Associate Professor Dr. Charun Bunyakarn, Acting Dean of the School of Law visited and studied at the Faculty of Law, Prince of Songkla University, with the honour of Assistant Professor Sutthichai Ngamchuensuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prince of Songkla University and Associate Professor Doctor Wasin Suwannarat, Vice President of Prince of Songkla University, joined in exchanging knowledge about faculty administration in various dimensions and building academic cooperation along with meeting with students in the faculty to publicise and recommend Walailak University Scholarships to pursue a master’s degree abroad to interested students.
