\u00a0 \u00a0(On 3 and 4 November 2023) school lecturers and students of the Law Programme, Walailak University participates in the traditional merit-making ceremony for the Buddha’s boat at Khao Lek Temple at the Ploenta Courtyard, Walailak University.
\u00a0 \u00a0There will be activities such as a demonstration of making boiled desserts and making merit by offering food to monks on a boat and listening to a sermon as well as activities that lead students, lecturers, and staff joined together to drag the monk’s boat back to Wat Khao Lek.
This is to promote and preserve the traditional culture of dragging monks as a cultural heritage of the southern people. It also encourages students, faculty, and staff to become aware of the value of southern arts, culture, and local wisdom.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
