\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On March 27, 2024, the School of Law organized an activity, the International Collaboration celebrates the occasion of Walailak University’s 32nd anniversary of its founding by organizing activities. This led by Mr. Kanokphol Nikornpach, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and professors and students in the law programme participated in the activity with the honour of Dr. Yulia Kovalevskaia Saint Petersburg State University providing knowledge on Consumer Protection Law in Russia.
The objective is for students to gain knowledge of Russian laws and legal issues including:
– Protection of consumer interests
– United Nations Guidelines for the Protection of Consumer Interests
– Economic Cooperation and Development
– Consumer Protection in E-Commerce dated 24 May 2016
– Model law of UNCITRAL on the use and cross-border recognition of personal data control and certification services (2022)
– Comparison of Thai law in relevant aspects is the basis for studying civil law and civil procedure, Consumer Protection Law.
