On 3 May 2025, the School of Law, Walailak University, participated in the 41st Thailand University Staff Sports Competition, known as the \u201cTumpang Games,\u201d under the theme \u201cPower of Spirit,\u201d reflecting the athletes\u2019 sportsmanship\u2014knowing how to win, how to lose, and how to forgive.<\/p>

The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Waraporn Rungtrakan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). Also present were Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University; Mr. Witthaya Kiewrod, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province; Associate Professor Dr. Chusit Pradabphet, Chairman of the Thailand University Sports Committee (TUSC); Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Suksuwan, Chair of the Subcommittee on Sports Promotion for Excellence, TUSC; and delegations of athletes and officials from 59 institutions nationwide.
