organized a community legal outreach activity under the project <strong>\u201cSimple Law: Know Your Rights, Stay Ahead\u201d<\/strong> during the <strong>\u201cPhra Phrom Games\u201d<\/strong> on <strong>7\u20138 August 2025<\/strong> at <strong>Debsirin Nakhon Si Thammarat School<\/strong>, Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and <strong>Triam Udom Suksa School of the South<\/strong>, Phra Phrom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.<\/p><p>This activity focused on providing basic legal knowledge relevant to daily life, such as family law, property law, inheritance law, and contract law. The aim was to enhance legal awareness among students and young people, empowering them to protect their rights, avoid exploitation, and guard against fraud\u2014particularly from call center scams, which have become a serious social problem in Thailand today.<\/p><p>The project is part of the integration of academic coursework with community engagement, ensuring that classroom learning is effectively applied in real-life contexts. The courses incorporated include:<\/p><ul><li>LAW67-213 Property Law<\/li><li>LAW67-221 Specific Contracts I<\/li><li>LAW67-222 Specific Contracts II<\/li><li>LAW67-224 Loan, Deposit, and Security Transactions Law<\/li><\/ul><p>This initiative also supports the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>SDG 4.3.4<\/strong>: Education outreach activities beyond campus;<\/li><li><strong>SDG 17.2.5<\/strong>: Building sustainable learning processes to enhance education and create equal opportunities for youth and community members to access knowledge.<\/li><\/ul><p>In addition, the project aligns with the <strong>UI Green Metric World University Rankings<\/strong> under the category of <strong>Education and Research (ED):<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>ED1<\/strong>: Ratio of sustainability-related courses to total courses offered<\/li><li><strong>ED10<\/strong>: Number of sustainability-related community services organized by the university with active student involvement<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Miss Yosita Saikhwan<\/strong>, Acting Head of the School of Law and Project Leader, stated: <em>\u201cThis outreach activity not only allowed students to gain valuable experiential learning from real-life situations but also provided an important opportunity to contribute positively to society.
