During February 11\u201313, 2026, Mr. Pete Pimanprom, a lecturer of the School of Law, Walailak University, was honored to serve as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia.<\/p>

On this occasion, he delivered a special lecture titled:
\u201cFoundations of Fiscal Sovereignty: A Comparative Legal Analysis of Thai and Indonesian Tax Systems,\u201d which provided a comparative analysis of fiscal sovereignty principles and the structure of tax systems in Thailand and Indonesia\u2014an important topic within the fields of public law and international economic law.<\/p>

In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the School of Law, Walailak University, and Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta to establish a foundation for long-term academic collaboration. This includes faculty and student exchanges, joint research, academic activities, and international curriculum development.<\/p>

This collaboration reflects the School of Law\u2019s role in strengthening academic networks within the ASEAN community, promoting cross-cultural understanding, and advancing legal knowledge on an international scale.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
