In the second semester of the 2025 academic year, the Law Program at Walailak University delivered the course LAW63-352 Law of Evidence, with the distinguished participation of Professor (Special) Jaran Phakdithanakun, a renowned expert in the law of evidence with extensive experience in the justice system. He contributed to delivering in-depth knowledge and practical insights to students, totaling more than 48 hours of lectures and learning activities.<\/p>

The Law of Evidence is a fundamental course that focuses on the study of legal provisions relating to evidence, including principles, procedures, and approaches to the presentation and examination of evidence in both civil and criminal cases. The course aims to build systematic understanding and enable practical application in legal professions.<\/p>

The key learning topics included:<\/p>

General principles of the law of evidence
General rules on the taking of evidence
Burden of proof and duty to present evidence
Rules on admissibility of evidence
General methods of presenting evidence
Methods of presenting evidence based on types of witnesses
Standards of proof in civil and criminal cases
General principles of fact-finding in judicial proceedings<\/p>

This instructional initiative reflects the Law Program\u2019s strong commitment to developing students\u2019 in-depth understanding of evidentiary law, enabling them to analyze facts and legal issues comprehensively.
