On June 20, 2026, the School of Law, Walailak University, in collaboration with the Law Student Association, organized the \u201cCode Book Presentation Ceremony for the Sons and Daughters of Prince Rapee \u2013 12th Cohort\u201d at Lecture Building 5. The ceremony was attended by the School’s administrators, faculty members, and students, who gathered to witness this meaningful tradition. During the event, faculty members delivered words of encouragement and shared valuable insights to inspire first-year students and instill the ideals and values of the legal profession.<\/p>

The \u201cCode Book for the Sons and Daughters of Prince Rapee\u201d ceremony is far more than the presentation of a law book to first-year students. It symbolizes the transmission of legal knowledge, wisdom, and the enduring spirit of the legal profession from one generation to the next. The code book represents an \u201cintellectual weapon\u201d\u2014an essential tool that will accompany students throughout their legal education, support their academic pursuits, and reinforce their commitment to the rule of law throughout their future professional careers.<\/p>

As part of the ceremony, faculty members presented each first-year student with a copy of the Civil and Commercial Code, one of the most fundamental legal references for every law student and legal practitioner. The presentation was accompanied by heartfelt words of encouragement, expressing the faculty’s confidence, care, and aspirations for the students as they embark on their journey toward becoming knowledgeable, competent, and ethical legal professionals.<\/p>

The Code Book Presentation Ceremony remains one of the School of Law’s most cherished traditions. It reflects the strong bond among faculty members, senior students, and first-year students while preserving the values and traditions of the legal profession.
