The School of Law, Walailak University (LAWWU), through its Research Center, continues to foster academic excellence by organizing the “Publishing Drive Project,” a five-part series designed to enhance the research, writing, and publication capabilities of its faculty members. The knowledge and research outcomes generated through this initiative are directly integrated into the curriculum, ensuring students learn from cutting-edge academic insights.<\/p>

The project covered key academic areas, including research article writing, publication in Scopus-indexed journals, the application of Generative AI in research, and the authorship of scholarly books and textbooks.<\/p>

5 Sessions, 5 Dimensions: Driving LAWWU Researcher Potential
Session 1\/5: Safe Journal Selection<\/p>

Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chitnarong Sirisathitkul<\/p>

Date & Venue: May 1, 2026, at Meeting Room 1, Academic Building 6, Walailak University.<\/p>

Focus: Insights and strategies on selecting trustworthy, safe academic journals for publication.<\/p>

Session 2\/5: Practical Fundamentals of Generative AI in Research<\/p>

Speakers: Dr. Anusorn Chai-aksornwej and Lecturer Chayanit Cherdthammathorn (School of Political Science)<\/p>

Date & Venue: June 9, 2026, at Meeting Room 2, Academic Building 5.<\/p>

Focus: Designing research workflows based on PRISMA guidelines and utilizing Gen AI for rigorous data verification and analysis.<\/p>

Session 3\/5: Research Article Publication Drive<\/p>

Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chitnarong Sirisathitkul<\/p>

Focus: Structuring content, maintaining scholarly standards, and writing books\/textbooks to enhance academic achievements.<\/p>

Session 5\/5: Humanities and Social Sciences Perspectives for Interdisciplinary Legal Research<\/p>

Date & Venue: August 26, 2026, at the Sirindhorn Natural History Museum Building, Walailak University.<\/p>

Focus: A forum exchanging ideas in humanities and social sciences to expand humanistic and ethnic legal research.<\/p>

This five-part academic drive not only enhances faculty research capabilities but also translates newly produced knowledge directly into student learning.
