Walailak University, through the School of Law, continues its mission of community outreach to create educational opportunities and elevate the quality of life for the youth. On July 24, 2026, faculty members, staff, and law students successfully organized the \u201cEmpowering Youth with Legal Knowledge to Prevent Drug Abuse\u201d academic service event at Triam Udom Suksa School of the South, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province\u2014continuing the annual tradition of bringing this exclusive event directly to the school!<\/p>

\ud83d\ude80 Bringing the Fun Directly to the School! WU School of Law Delivers Legal and English Knowledge to Triam Udom Suksa School of the South<\/strong> \ud83c\udf89<\/p>

Who says the law has to be boring? Toss that thought away! The outreach team from the School of Law, Walailak University, brought full-scale excitement and knowledge right to the students’ doorstep under the impactful theme, \u201cEmpowering Youth with Legal Knowledge to Prevent Drug Abuse.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>

This event went beyond standard lectures; it “intellectually armed” the youth across 3 main areas that can be practically applied as life shields in everyday life!<\/p>

\ud83d\ude80 1. “Where There Is a Community, There Is Law” Campaign (United Against Drugs)<\/strong> Students from LAW67-231 (Criminal Law: Offences and Petty Crimes)<\/strong> highlighted a critical issue: the drug problem. They transformed their workshop outcomes into easily accessible media (Brochures, Links, QR Codes) to educate the youth on drug laws and civic duties. The major highlight was engaging “frontline community units”\u2014including the local police station, health center, village leaders, the school, and the university\u2014to form a surveillance network, creating an integrated shield against drug threats!<\/p>

\ud83d\udca1 2. Stay Law-Savvy, Survive the Scammers!<\/strong> Senior students from LAW67-211 (Civil and Commercial Code: Obligations)<\/strong> shared their best legal tips, holding nothing back! They simplified contract laws, teaching the secrets of “legal money lending and drafting valid loan agreements.” Additionally, they exposed “scammer prevention tricks,” equipping students and staff with practical tools to guard against financial fraud and keep their money safe!<\/p>

\ud83c\udf0d 3. Go Global with Legal English<\/strong> Language enthusiasts had to visit this booth! Seniors from LAW63-367 (English for Reading and Researching Legal Documents)<\/strong> brought cutting-edge learning tools. They digested International Legal News and essential Legal Vocabulary into brochures and instantly scannable QR Codes\/Links. This initiative helped upgrade reading and translation skills, making global information easily accessible at everyone’s fingertips!<\/p>

\ud83c\udfaf Fun with a Global Purpose (SDGs Integration)<\/strong> While it sounds like all fun and games, every activity was meticulously designed to align perfectly with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)!<\/p>
