The School of Law organized the initiative "Exchange experiences and guide on creating social service projects" to promote academic services and sustainable community development.

On Wednesday 8 Mat 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the School of Law, led by Professor Amonrat Ammartsena, hosted the project “Exchange experiences and provide guidance on creating social service projects” in honour of Doctor Jindarha Prampramote, an expert in driving the creation of academic service projects at the university level, and the faculty. Come as a speaker in Meeting Room 1, Academic Building 5.
This is to encourage faculty members at the School of Law to offer their research results to the community to build economic, social, and environmental strength based on the community’s requirements.

Assess the quality of internal education at the curriculum level for 2023, specifically the Law curriculum, using WUQA-P criteria.

On 7 May 2024, the law programme, School of Law held an internal educational quality assessment for the academic year 2566 in Curriculum Level with

The School of Law participates in the Walailak Songkran Festival, which celebrates Thai customs in the year 2024.

Administrators, lecturers, and support staff from the School of Law participated in Walailak University’s Songkran tradition on April 18, 2024. At this occasion, there was an opportunity to set up a Thai dessert stand, pour water on the Buddha Sihing for good fortune, and beseech for blessings from the elderly in the AD building’s central hall, Walailak University.
This aims to preserve and nurture the traditional arts and culture of Songkran.

On March 27, 2024, the School of Law organized an activity, the International Collaboration celebrates the occasion of Walailak University’s 32nd anniversary of its founding by organizing activities. This led by Mr. Kanokphol Nikornpach, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and professors and students in the law programme participated in the activity with the honour of Dr. Yulia Kovalevskaia Saint Petersburg State University providing knowledge on Consumer Protection Law in Russia.
The objective is for students to gain knowledge of Russian laws and legal issues including:
– Protection of consumer interests
– United Nations Guidelines for the Protection of Consumer Interests
– Economic Cooperation and Development
– Consumer Protection in E-Commerce dated 24 May 2016
– Model law of UNCITRAL on the use and cross-border recognition of personal data control and certification services (2022)
– Comparison of Thai law in relevant aspects is the basis for studying civil law and civil procedure, Consumer Protection Law.

In order to coordinate academic service projects, the Law Program Walailak University will bring law students to the region on March 16, 2024, under the direction of faculty members in the School of Law. For residents in the Na Bon District, there is a mobile legal clinic and services for legal advice. In addition, taking part in the 3rd “Rak Jang Na Bon” walking and running event at the Na Bon District Office of Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Law students participate in study tours with emergency medicine and forensic medicine groups to gain knowledge of criminal investigations and evidence for court proceedings.

On March 14, 2024, the Law Program at Walailak University was led by Professor Nottapol Bua-ngern, a lecturer in the Law program. Brought students to see work at Maharat Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital while teaching the course LAW63-380 Forensic Medicine. In the third semester of 2023, we were welcomed by the Director of Maharat Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital. Maharat Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital is a forensic medicine-focused organization with expert personnel who can provide knowledge consistent with the course objectives. This study tour enables students to study the relationship between medicine and the law, it is useful in criminal investigations and inquiries as well as in proving evidence for court proceedings.
