    On August 7, 2024, the faculty of the Law Program, led by Assistant Professor Nittaya Limruangkul and Assistant Professor Phiraphat Pleumjai, lecturers of the Law Program, led law students to participate in a mock court activity on Raphi Day 2024, organized by the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Court in collaboration with the Office of the Attorney General of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Court and the Lawyers Council of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
    This activity was welcomed by judges and prosecutors who came to simulate real events in court proceedings. The students saw real-world practices beyond theories in the classroom and were greatly inspired to pursue their future careers in the justice system.

    On 15 June 2024, the School of Law organised an activity to present a code of law to the 10th generation of Walailak Law students, who are like the descendants of Prince Rapeepattanasak, at Academic Building 5, receiving honors from Ajarn Thongthan Luengrueangrong, Senior Judge in the Court of Appeal With Asst. Prof. Dr. Wijittra Petchkij, Acting Dean, presiding over the ceremony and giving inspirational words to students.
Such activities include administrators and faculty members in the law program. The Civil and Commercial Code was given to first-year students, as if it were an intellectual weapon that first-year students could use in their legal careers.     There was also a wrist-tying activity for first-year students for their benefit. It is auspicious and for morale to study in the School of Law.
    In addition, there are activities where senior students and the Law Student Club build relationships, get to know each other, exchange and give advice on studying and living on campus.

    On Wednesday 12 June  2024, the Law Programme, Walailak University and the School of Law student club will host a competition to answer legal questions on personal data protection academic year 2024, to pick talented students to participate in the “National Competition to Answer Questions about Personal Data Protection Laws in Higher Education for the Year 2024 (PDPA Challenge 2024 by PDPC x Krungthai: Season 2)”.

    On June 6, 2024, the School of Law will hold an orientation activity for new law students for the academic year 2024 at Room 3310, Academic Building 3, Walailak University.
Academic activities and an introduction to the student care system are included, with a focus on publicising international issues affairs and imparting fundamental understanding of the value of the Thai language in law studies. Also, guidelines for success in studying law and participating in recreational activities with students at the School of Law student club Academic year 2024.
  This is to foster knowledge and awareness of new students’ adjustment to the university campus, as well as to provide a legal basis so that they are prepared to attend school with the spirit of a lawyer. This includes students getting to know their peers, seniors, and lecturers in the programme better.

    On 1 June 2024, Assistant Professor Doctor Wijittra Petchkij, Acting Dean of the School of Law, was joined by lecturers, staff, and the student club team. Participate in activities meant for new students in 2024.

    Associate Professor Doctor Charun Bunyakan, the overseeing Vice Rector, honoured us by welcoming the students and providing information on university driving policies and developing students’ confidence to generate quality graduates. In this year’s legal curriculum, 231 first-year students come from the southern region, Bangkok, and the neighbouring areas including the Northeastern Region.

    This activity included an introduction to administrators and the legal expertise of the faculty, the program’s student services system, and university life skills, as well as asking students to ask questions of administrators about what they would like to know. Finally, the students met with their individual advisors.

    On Wednesday 8 May 2024, the School of Law, led by Professor Amornrat Amatsena, Acting Head of the Research Center, “drove the publication of research articles in international journals published in the database. Scopus” with the honour of Asst.Prof.Dr. Thanaphas Dejpawuttikul, a lecturer with research experience and playing a key role in driving research publications, at Meeting Room 2, Academic Building 5.
    This is to exchange knowledge on publishing and promote research and publication of research articles or academic publications in the social sciences, as well as ways for raising the number of works published in worldwide databases.

     On Wednesday 8 Mat 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the School of Law, led by Professor Amonrat Ammartsena, hosted the project “Exchange experiences and provide guidance on creating social service projects” in honour of Doctor Jindarha Prampramote, an expert in driving the creation of academic service projects at the university level, and the faculty. Come as a speaker in Meeting Room 1, Academic Building 5.
     This is to encourage faculty members at the School of Law to offer their research results to the community to build economic, social, and environmental strength based on the community’s requirements.
